 All of my jewellery is handmade, ring by ring and can be made to suit individual style. All sterling silver wire and sheet metal are recycled sterling silver. This is recycled from leftover scrap from jewellery making and other industries. I find my inspiration and solace in our beautiful natural environment. I try to have as little impact on our environment as possible.

My jewellery is about self expression. Throughout history cultures have adorned themselves in an effort to explain who they are. To try and show on the outside what exists on the inside. Jewellery and clothes allow us to explore different aspects of who we are and what we are inspired by in others. For me, making something by hand that someone will cherish is an amazing feeling.

Rings and Stones is a small artisan business based on the Sunshine Coast, Qld, Australia. My work has been featured in Step by Step Wire Jewelry Magazine (US), Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist (US) and Metal Stone and Glass Magazine (AUS).

Rings and Stones and the environment.

I try to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

The sterling silver wire and sheet I use are commercially recycled sterling silver.

All of my jewellery is made by hand with care and attention to detail.

My own electricity use is 100% carbon neutral through offsets using Energy Locals electricity.

My packaging is based on buying high quality items that are beautiful, they protect your lovely jewellery and can be reused. For the void fill to keep your gorgeous items from moving around in transit I use either post consumer waste air pillows and other items that I reuse from materials that are sent to me. All of the bubble wrap is recycled from packaging that I have received. The clear bags that I use are genuine cellophane made from fibre, these bags are biodegradable. All mailing boxes and other paper items, including my business cards are made from 100% recycled paper.
