I use both vermeil gold which is gold plated sterling silver and gold-filled 14/20 which is solid 14kt gold outer shell heat bonded to a base metal core. The weight of gold in 14/20 gold-filled is 1/20th. I also use amazing handcrafted Murano glass beads with 24kt gold on the inside and outside of the glass. Gold has always been worshipped as a natural element connected with the sun and the gods. It is associated with strength, leadership and grandeur.
